5 Designs for Under a Fiver!

 I love nail art.
And good nail art doesn't have to be complicated or tricky - it can be Messy but that's Half the Fun.

So I wanted to do 5 Designs that Any Student Could Afford.
The most expensive design out of the 5 costs £3; £2 for 2 varnish colours (I used MUA available at superdrug or Poundland sale nail varnishes), £1 for a stamping plate from Poundland.

For a Gradient you need a kitchen sponge...

Sunday Experiments... OK it was more technique and colours... *New Pics*

I have Missed Blogging So Much - seeing cool things/getting inspired/learning about new techniques/effects/polishes. I've Missed Buying nail Varnish, and reading the very few and rare comments I get - I love them.

Anyway this is just a Short but Sweet Mess Around I had today - will be uploading pictures of the individual nails soon. The Lighting in the Kitchen is Terrible, but I have asked for a light box for Christmas.

Pics in article are better...

Hi guys, hope you all had a Great Weekend!
I've been very Uninspired and catching up with family in the lounge (not my normal work station) so Apologies for the lack of Experiments, I have just messed about with some stamping for you guys to see this weekend...

I'm going to SW4 next weekend and wanted to come up with something Festivally... No success so far but I've just had a Brain Wave...

No. 2.11: Royal Baby Manicure!

So we are still awaiting the name of the Royal Baby, but we know its a Prince. Congratulations of course to Kate and William!

This was one of my designs for this summer, not sure whether it was on my first set of designs or second but I have changed it slightly.

I used a pale blue MUA colour on my left hand and Barry M dragon fruit on my right (gender hadn't been announced when I started last night, obviously 10 minutes later it was announced a boy!).

For the accent nail I did a 2 coat base of Essie Blanc, using Barry M's Gold instant nail effects (top Picture) for the tip and stamping.

I used a plate BM08 from Bundle Monster, I am not well practiced with stamping, and this crown always gives me difficulty but I got there in the end!

Anyway I hope you like and please comment with links to any of your royal related designs. A gold dummy would have also been great for this!

No. 13 - Strawberries and Cream (Wimbeldon Inspired) Nail Art Design

I was a bit late getting round to do these, but I only got some more fake nails this weekend, and I'm glad I put it off because I picked up the cutest Red Glitter from Barry M which I think gave it a really nice finishing touch.

I started off by doing the tips in Essie Blanc (two coats) followed by Shade 6 or 8 of the old MUA nail varnishes (one coat) followed up with a coat of Barry M Red Glitter.

I used my Bourjois - Sunny Sun to do the Polka Dot detail using a cocktail stick, and used my Summer Limited Edition Neon Green Barry M as the base of the Accent nail, and Spring Green for the detail.

Let me know what you think of this mani and what you want to see more of on the blog, would really appreciate any help as quite new to this!

No. 4 - Cobalt Clash Summer Nail Art Design

Apologies for the roughness, I had to take my Lemonade Crush nails off last night, and just wanted my nails covered while I was at work so I picked one of my plain(ish) manicures the Cobalt Clash.

I decided on Cobalt Clash after reading an article in LOOK magazine at the gym, very in touch with this summers fashion, bright clashing colours. For people that don't want anything to fussy or stand-outish I think this is a great mani and obviously really simple!

I have used Deep Plum by MUA - I'm not sure whether they still do this colour, as you can tell by the picture it's one of their old bottles. And I used a Barry M Blue (Name to be inserted) for the cobalt.
I haven't added polka dots yet; I will edit this and add another pic once I am fully decided.

Do you think it's a good summer mani? Comment below and let me know!
