About 4 weeks back I ordered 2 Lucky Dip Bags, 1 Holographic Varnish and 1 Dotting Pen(cil) from the BornPretty website and they have finally turned up so I thought I would use them in my Sunday Experiments....

Budget Review: Miss Sporty Goth Me Up

Yesterday I posted a review of the Beetle Wings and Glossy Tech polish from the Miss sporty collection. Today I'm talking about the Goth Me Up. I saw this and was quite intrigued, not my normal sort of thing but I wanted to try it out!

 Hi girls (& guys?), if you like me suffer from insufficent funds for luxurious nail brands I've got it solved. Well I haven't... but I will be writing a post like this every week to help you find bargains, point you in the direction of good buys and let you know of any cheap cheats.

Cheap Cheats
So dots are everywhere ATM and everyone is banging on about these dotting tools, but if you are strapped for cash there are a few cheap ways to do this
1. Old Pens - using the nib of an old pen (make sure it's out of ink) or even the cap (if it's closed).
2. Pins - Use the blunt end, you could even stick the sharp bit into a rubber to give you a bit more control and avoid any pricks! (If life was that simple)
3. Single Dotting  Pen - So this does require spending, but at only $1.99 and with the $ in our favour you shouldn't notice much of a difference (apart from if your bank charges you?), you can pay by pay pal.

No. 9 - Blingy Thing Summer Design ++ Old Leopard Print

?Short post about design No.9 Blingy Thing, I did this design ages ago for the first time I went to Ministry of Sound in London.

As neon is in this summer this really suits the party girls, if you want to tone it down you could take off the diamantes or only have one nail with stripes. I think I used a Miss Sporty varnish for the pink and a detail brush that was already in white varnish (don't know which brand); My green nail in Neon Party was meant to come out more like this.

Above is my hand detailed leopard print that I also did, haven't posted as a summer design because it's so over done but I hope you appreciate my use of more neutral colours!

My challenge for tonight is deciding on a design for my nails before heading Up North to meet the better half's family, definitely going out Saturday and potentially on Friday but undecided on what nails todo!
