Nail Polish Advent Calendar - Avon Sea Breeze - Dec 3rd

So the polish I got yesterday was Sea Breeze from the Nailwear Pro+ collection.

It's a pastel green, not quite mint but would look great as a background colour for some pattern stamping.

Nail Polish Advent Calender - Avon Golden Vision - Dec 1st

Everyone should but themselves a gift a Christmas,  and this is (one of) mine to me!

I saw a fabby Nail Varnish Calendar in the Avon mag, with 12 polishes in and today is Day 1 - Golden Vision!

It is a bright metallic which I love and is great for showing off other bright colours, read on to see two coats & my Christmas Nail Art...

Nail Art: Teal & Gold Leaf (Quick, Easy & Simple)

As per I have not been blogging but hoping to get a few posts and reviews lined up.

Thought I would treat you all to a lovely piece of arty farty I did a month or so ago...

Base colour is a dark turquoise from Topshop, then I have stamped over the top in white,  and filled in the gold detail by hand!

Spring Nails - Barry M, Shany Cosmetics and Rio

I am in love with this mani and totally inspired which makes me want to take it off and do other cool manis... but I'm enjoying it so much!

Avon Opal Top Coat review and Barry M Aquarium Mermaid Revue

OK I need to do a review on the opal top coat by it's self but they're both quite jazzy.

I did 2 coats of each but I think the opal looks best with just one coat....

Invouge Liquid Metal Effect

 So this was another polish from my Invogue set.

I actually love Teally/turquoise/green and blue colours, I like a lot of colours and this is no exception.

I think it looks beautiful, rich and very shiney indeed.

 

 

I was a bit of a naughty girl and didn't Prep my Nails Before This Manicure (as in file/buff/smooth) and it has shown my natural ridges - so something to be mindful of but this goes for most shiney varnishes x

 

 

I also did the overnight test again to see if there as any chipping...

 

 

There were a few bits but not like with the suede and with this effect I'm pretty sure a normal topcoat would do the trick.

 

Have you used invogue before? What are your thoughts x

Halloween Ideas...

I was really un inspired the other day so I thought if I did some Halloween Nails it might kick start me in the right direction. I really like Bewitched and Pumpkin Patch - Will probably be doing bewitched as I am a sucker for Navy and Gold combos...

 

 

The idea is to have the Witches Silhouette (Bundle Monster Stamp) Against the Moon - all other nails should look like the Night's Sky ;) awww...

(I used an MUA midnight blue and Barry M - Yellow Topaz)
